The short version: We collect what you give us (your name, business info, email when you book a Strategy Session or sign up for something). We use it to run our marketing services and respond to you. We do not sell your data. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
01. Who we are and how to reach us
Manawave Marketing ("Manawave," "we," "us," "our") is a productized marketing agency based in Kauai, Hawaii. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our services.

02. What information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact and business information: name, email address, phone number, business name, website URL, role at the business.
- Strategy Session intake: what marketing channels you are currently running, your business goals, basic budget range.
- Communications: emails, forms, calls, or chat messages you send us.
- Payment information: if you become a client, billing details are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referring URL, general device and browser type.
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level, not precise GPS).
- Cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic site function. See section 05.
Information from third parties
If you connect to us via a third-party platform (for example, scheduling tools like Calendly, or analytics providers), we may receive information from that platform about you, limited to what is needed to complete the interaction you initiated.
03. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your Strategy Session request, questions, or quote inquiries.
- Deliver the services you have hired us for and communicate about them.
- Send transactional emails (receipts, scheduling confirmations, project updates).
- Send marketing emails about our services, if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
- Improve our website, services, and customer experience.
- Comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
04. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the business, and only with parties bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations:
- Service providers we use to run our business: email hosting and CRM (GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar depending on your project), payment processing (Stripe), scheduling (Calendly), analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar), and file storage (Google Workspace, Dropbox).
- Marketing platforms you ask us to manage on your behalf: Meta, Google, your email service provider, etc. In those cases, we act as a service provider to your business under our agreement with you.
- Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers: in the unlikely event Manawave is acquired or merges, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

06. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights about the personal information we hold about you:
- Access: ask us what information we have about you.
- Correction: ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Portability: ask us to provide your information in a portable format.
- Opt-out of marketing: at any time, by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing us.
- Do Not Track: we honor browser-level Do Not Track signals where reasonably feasible.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and disclose, and the right to opt out of "sales" of personal information. EU / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EU, UK, or EEA, our lawful bases for processing are: performance of a contract (delivering our services), legitimate interests (operating the business, marketing to existing clients), legal obligation, and consent (for marketing emails to new prospects). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
07. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:
- Active client records: for the duration of our engagement plus 7 years (tax and contract recordkeeping).
- Prospect / inquiry records: up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymized.
- Marketing email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
08. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, vendor security review, and limiting employee access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
09. Information about children
Our services are intended for businesses and the people who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients and via a notice on this page for visitors.
